Kathryn's Bridal Shower

Yesterday afternoon I attended Kathryn's bridal shower, held at her soon-to-be sister in-law's house in North Balwyn. The theme was "Laduree". The first thing that came to my mind when I was thinking of what to wear is: dress, skirt, girly. Oh and ... yummy macaroons!

New York Cheesecake Recipe

Cheesecakes have been my all time favourite cake, same as Edric.

Yesterday was Edric's birthday (Happy Birthday!!) and a few weeks back I recall him wanting New York cheesecake specifically. So I baked him the cake as requested. It was my first time!! Was really nervous but so happy with the result.

Duck Down Jacket

On the weekend, I decided to find a duck down jacket because the weather was getting colder or my body probably can't take it like previous years (I am definitely getting older!!) Duck down will definitely keep you warmer in colder weather. Not forgetting, it's lightweight. Most of my autumn/winter jackets are wool and fleece.

So the hunt began. I'm not a fan of duck down jackets to be honest because the jackets will make you look bigger/puffy. But I told myself as long as it comes with a waist belt and the cut is flattering, I'm up for it.
